Most of the Pittsburgh Penguins players took advantage of the 4 Nations break to unwind and recharge before resuming practice. Alex Nedeljkovic described it as "a nice little reset" and expressed eagerness for the upcoming games.

Evgeni Malkin spent his break in Miami, enjoying the weather and spending time with friends. He also met with fellow player Alex Ovechkin for dinner, noting that Ovechkin preferred to relax rather than discuss goals.

Noel Acciari, Alex Nedeljkovic, Marcus Pettersson, and Drew O’Connor gathered in Florida. According to Acciari, they enjoyed poolside relaxation at a resort and good weather.

Michael Bunting and Kevin Hayes visited the Dominican Republic for sunshine, beach activities, and golf. P.O Joseph explored Aruba with family and friends, experiencing his first sunburn during their tropical visit.

Vincent Desharnais returned to Montreal seeking comfort after a hectic period involving playoffs and team changes. He appreciated home-cooked meals despite two snowstorms.

Bryan Rust traveled to Sault Ste. Marie in Ontario with his family where they engaged in snowy outdoor activities including skating on an outdoor rink maintained by his father-in-law.

Cody Glass visited Tulum in Mexico where he enjoyed getting a tan while exploring local restaurants. Ryan Graves returned to Nova Scotia for peaceful walks along beaches and snowy landscapes near his cottage area.

Anthony Beauvillier chose Cocoa Beach as well as visits to Disney World and Universal Studios due to his interest in Harry Potter attractions.
