Rep. Summer Lee discusses local business and housing issues in recent tweets

Rep. Summer Lee, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 12th district, shared insights through a series of tweets on January 29, 2025. The tweets reflect her engagement with local businesses and communities, as well as her concerns about housing and economic stability in her district.

On January 29, 2025, Rep. Summer Lee tweeted about her visit to Premier Automation in Western Pennsylvania: "I had the opportunity to visit @PGHautomation, a business that’s making sure Western PA continues to be known as the robotics capital of the world. Premier Automation is driving innovation and helping to grow an industry that’s creating good-paying jobs right here in our region!"

Later that day, she expressed concerns regarding constituents facing economic hardships: "Our office was flooded w/ calls of abject horror—people terrified about losing their homes, families unsure if they could put food on the table, folks wondering if they still had health care. I'm relieved, but we gotta stay ready. They've shown there’s no limit to their cruelty."

In another tweet posted on January 29, 2025, Rep. Lee addressed issues related to affordable housing in her district: "In PA-12, corporations like NB Affordable take tax dollars for affordable housing while tenants suffer with mold, sewage backups, and no heat in the dead of winter. Grateful to @CouncilorMosley for letting me speak on this at today’s Post Agenda meeting."
