Steelers special teams captain Miles Killebrew has been selected for the Pro Bowl Games for the second consecutive year. In the current NFL season, Killebrew recorded 13 special teams tackles, with eight being solo stops, tying him for ninth place in this category across the league.

Since joining the Steelers in 2021, Killebrew has blocked three punts and leads the NFL in this statistic during his tenure with the team. Additionally, he ranks 10th in special teams solo tackles with a total of 24 and is 19th in total snaps on special teams with 1,239.

In his career spanning 146 games, Killebrew has accumulated 75 defensive tackles, two interceptions, and 86 special teams tackles. He was also named First-Team Associated Press All-Pro in 2023.

Killebrew will join other Steelers players such as kicker Chris Boswell, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, and linebacker T.J. Watt at the Pro Bowl Games. He replaces Brenden Schooler from the New England Patriots who cannot participate due to injury.

The Pro Bowl Games have replaced the traditional game format and will feature an AFC vs. NFC Flag Game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on February 2. The event includes skill competitions aimed at providing fans a unique view of top players' abilities.

"The Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon celebrates the biggest stars in the NFL," said Peter O'Reilly, NFL executive vice president of events and club business. "We're thrilled to bring this multi-day all-star event back to Orlando." O'Reilly emphasized Orlando's history of successful Pro Bowls and expressed enthusiasm about partnering with local entities to enhance their celebration for players and fans alike.
