Rep. Summer Lee, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 12th district, has recently shared her views on several critical issues through a series of tweets. These posts address Holocaust remembrance, housing safety concerns related to private equity firms, and the risks faced by Americans relying on social support programs.

On January 27, 2025, Rep. Summer Lee commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day by stating: "Today, on #HolocaustRemembranceDay, we remember the 6 million Jews and millions of others murdered in the Holocaust. We recommit to fighting antisemitism, genocide, and denial, and to ensuring 'Never Again' is more than just words."

Later that day, she expressed concern over housing conditions affected by private equity firms. She tweeted: "Private equity firms like Vitus Group are profiting off affordable housing—meant to protect our most vulnerable—while cutting corners + leaving families in unsafe, dangerous conditions. Everybody deserves safe, quality housing, + we won’t stop fighting until that’s a reality."

On January 28, 2025, Rep. Lee highlighted potential risks for Americans reliant on various social support programs. She noted: "The 42 million Americans who rely on SNAP, 72 million enrolled in Medicaid, 5 million households who rely on rental assistance, and 6.6 million low-income women and children who rely on WIC ALL stand at risk of losing access to the critical support they need."
