The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced several key changes in their front office executive staff, including both promotions and new hires.
Drew Praster has been promoted to Chief Ticketing Officer. He has spent the past two seasons with the team as Senior Vice President of Ticketing. In his new role, Praster will oversee the entire ticketing department, which includes sales staff, customer service, and ticket operations. His responsibilities include managing season tickets, premium tickets and suites, group sales, single-game tickets, and renewing existing ticket holders.
Praster's previous experience includes 14 seasons with the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA, where he held various roles in ticket sales before becoming Vice President of Ticket Sales & Services in 2019. He was recognized on Charlotte Business Journal’s ‘40 Under 40’ list in 2022 and received the NC Shape Sport Management Professional of the Year award in 2021.
Steve Kelley has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Partnerships after joining the Penguins in 2023 as Vice President of Partnership Marketing. Kelley's responsibilities include overseeing corporate sponsorships and securing new marketing partners for the team. Before joining the Penguins, Kelley worked at Fenway Sports Management focusing on sponsorship development for Fenway Sports Group.
Miles Ritenour joins as Vice President of Marketing after spending eight years at Anheuser-Busch. At Anheuser-Busch, he led marketing initiatives for Michelob ULTRA and previously served as Director of Marketing Communications for Bud Light. Ritenour is a graduate of Point Park University.
Nate Hillman takes on the role of Controller for the organization. Hillman will manage financial statements preparation and oversee internal control environments. He previously worked at Wabtec in accounting/controller roles contributing to significant company growth through acquisitions and organic expansion.
