Graduates earn 1,071 degrees, certificates from Point Park University

About 27.7 percent of the 1,071 degrees and certificates handed out by Point Park University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Pittsburgh conferred 155 bachelor's degrees and 140 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 126 master's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 74 bachelor's degrees in "other" business, management, marketing, and related support services and 74 certificates in general educational leadership and administration.

The university enrolled 4,099 students for 2017-18, including 3,196 in undergraduate programs and 903 in graduate programs.
