55 percent of applicants to Chatham University were admitted for fall 2018

At Chatham University, 81 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 75 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Pittsburgh enrolled 2,336 students in fall 2018, including 1,254 in undergraduate and 1,082 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

73 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 22 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (69 percent) and Black or African American (6 percent).

The school admitted 55 percent of the 2,761 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 18 percent enrolled.
