The Pittsburgh Penguins are set to face the Tampa Bay Lightning on November 19, 2024, as part of their home stand. The game is scheduled for 7:00 PM at PPG Paints Arena, with doors opening an hour earlier. This match is dedicated to "Hockey Fights Cancer" night and is presented by UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.

Fans can watch the game on SportsNet Pittsburgh and ESPN+, or listen via 105.9 the X and the Penguins app. The current team records stand at PIT (7-10-3) and TBL (9-6-1). Historically, Pittsburgh has had success against Tampa Bay, winning six of their last seven encounters.

Several players are in focus for tonight's game. Michael Bunting has a notable record against the Lightning with three goals and seven assists in his career games against them. Tristan Jarry holds a strong performance record against Tampa Bay as well, while Anthony Beauvillier aims to extend his point streak.

Sidney Crosby is on the brink of becoming the 21st player in NHL history to score 600 goals. He could join Alex Ovechkin as one of only two active players to reach this milestone. Crosby also seeks to surpass Joe Sakic in career assists.

The evening will include special events honoring those affected by cancer, including a Military Salute and various tributes throughout the game. Fans will have opportunities to support cancer programs through auctions and sales of autographed pucks.

Proceeds from these activities will benefit cancer initiatives at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Additionally, Penguins players are participating in 'Movember' to raise awareness for prostate cancer research.
