Penguins forward Boko Imama undergoes bicep surgery with successful outcome

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Boko Imama has recently undergone a successful surgery. This development was shared with the public by Kyle Dubas, the President of Hockey Operations and General Manager.

The surgery aimed to repair a bicep injury and took place on March 29. The procedure was conducted at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Penguins Head Team Physician Dr. Dharmesh Vyas and Dr. John Fowler from UPMC Sports Medicine carried out the surgery.

"Boko Imama underwent successful surgery," stated Dubas, confirming the operation's success.

The team has projected that Imama's recovery is expected to take between four to six months.
