The Triple Take crew, comprising Dale Lolley, Matt Williamson, and Mike Prisuta, have set their sights on the running back position in the forthcoming 2025 NFL Draft, slated for April. They shared their insights on the potential prospects, offering varied perspectives.

Dale Lolley emphasizes the depth of talent, likening this draft class to the notable 2017 cohort, which produced stars like James Conner and Aaron Jones from later selections. He ranks Ashton Jeanty from Boise State as a top prospect, noting his potential to go in the first round alongside Omarion Hampton. Dale points out Kaleb Johnson of Iowa for his patient running style, although he lacks the elite speed of his competitors. "His special trait is his tenacity and contact balance, which are special," Dale remarked regarding Cam Skattebo from Arizona State.

Matt Williamson also ranks Ashton Jeanty as his top choice, followed closely by Omarion Hampton. He favors Quinshon Judkins over Kaleb Johnson post-Combine performance, indicating a preference for Judkins' previous reputation as a highly regarded back. Williamson is optimistic about the class's quality, predicting several first-round picks and the potential for teams to secure valuable players later in the draft. "There could be quite a few Pro Bowl appearances from this class in the coming seasons," he noted.

Mike Prisuta's perspective includes elevating Judkins in his rankings, echoing his counterparts' high regard for Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton. Mike highlights Tennessee's Dylan Sampson for his prolific scoring, alongside notable performances by other players such as Oklahoma State's Ollie Gordon and Arizona State's Cam Skattebo. Prisuta is impressed with the diverse skills these prospects bring, noting, "Skattebo's 2,316 yards from scrimmage in 2024 were second in FBS to Jeanty."

The trio provided detailed assessments of running backs' performances at the NFL Scouting Combine and beyond, giving NFL teams comprehensive insights into potential draft selections.
