The Pittsburgh Steelers have made strategic roster changes ahead of the free agency period. The team tendered an offer to running back Jaylen Warren, signed center Ryan McCollum to a one-year contract, and released defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi.

Jaylen Warren, a restricted free agent, has been offered a tender by the Steelers, allowing them to retain him by matching any competing offers he might receive. Warren can also choose to stay with the team by signing the tender for the 2025 season or negotiating a long-term contract. Since joining the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2022, Warren has appeared in 48 games. He has accumulated 1,674 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 346 carries and caught 127 passes for 894 yards.

Ryan McCollum has secured a one-year deal after spending time on the Steelers' practice squad during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He was part of the active roster in 2024, appearing in all 17 games and starting two due to injuries. Originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted rookie in 2021, McCollum also played for the Detroit Lions before joining Pittsburgh.

Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi has been released after contributing significantly over his three seasons with the Steelers. In his eight NFL seasons, Ogunjobi started in most of his appearances and made impactful plays including sacks and tackles for loss. Beyond his performance on-field, he was recognized off-field as well, being nominated for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award in 2024.
