The recent "Asked and Answered" session covered a variety of topics related to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Robert Yeager from Canyon Country, CA, asked about the greatest Steelers player never to win a Super Bowl. The response was that active players like T.J. Watt are not considered until their careers are over, and Rod Woodson is excluded because he won with the Ravens in 2000. The choice narrowed down to Greg Lloyd and Dermontti Dawson, with Dawson being favored due to his Hall of Fame induction in 2012.

Ken Mauldin from Clyde, TX, questioned the performance of the Steelers' receiving corps last season. It was noted that the team ranked 26th in total passing yards and 27th in passing yards per game for 2024.

Glen Whitten from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, inquired about coaching salaries and movement between teams. It was clarified that coaching salaries are not capped but contractual obligations prevent movement for more money if under contract.

Terry Suchma from Southport, NC, recalled Kendrell Bell's career trajectory. Bell had an impressive rookie season but injuries limited his later performance before he moved to Kansas City after being released by Pittsburgh.

Bobby Beaty from Hope Mills, NC, discussed quarterback strategies regarding Justin Fields or Russell Wilson. The suggestion was not to use a high draft pick on a quarterback if either Fields or Wilson is retained as a starter.

John Reeher from York, SC, asked about scouting practices compared to the past. It was explained that while technology has leveled scouting across teams today, Bill Nunn's work with HBCUs gave the Steelers an edge during the 1970s.

Gayle Dye from Houston, TX wanted information on attending a Steelers game abroad. It was confirmed that Pittsburgh will play as a home team in Dublin rather than London this year.

Rene Ortega from Azusa, CA also asked about game packages for Ireland. Information will be available on Steelers.com once details are finalized.

Delmas Maynard from Dingess WV sought confirmation on rumors about Tyreek Hill joining the Steelers for $250 million. This claim was dismissed as inaccurate since Hill remains contracted with Miami Dolphins through 2026.

Jeff Franks from Toledo, OH wondered if Jaylen Warren could become the featured running back next season. Warren is set to become a restricted free agent and might be tendered an offer by Pittsburgh while Najee Harris’s return remains possible according to General Manager Omar Khan.

Tony Turay from Saskatoon asked whether skipping workouts at the Combine affects draft prospects in Coach Mike Tomlin's or GM Omar Khan's eyes. Generally speaking it does not unless players also skip Pro Day evaluations which could affect their draft position significantly.
