Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Dean Institute of Technology

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Dean Institute of Technology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $14,550 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 91 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 34 students received grants or scholarships totaling $176,460 and 40 students took out student loans totaling more than $328,400.

Including all undergraduates (146), 116 students used grants or scholarships totaling $455,300, and 122 students took out $1 million in federal student loans.
