The upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, set for April, is drawing attention as analysts Dale Lolley, Matt Williamson, and Mike Prisuta assess the quarterback prospects. Despite a less impressive class compared to last year, several intriguing players could emerge as future NFL starters.

Dale Lolley notes that the 2024 draft featured standout quarterbacks like Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams. However, this year's class may not see as many first-round picks. Miami's Cam Ward is projected as the top quarterback but might struggle to rank among last year's top five. Colorado's Shedeur Sanders is another potential first-round pick with a high floor but limited upside.

Dale's rankings place Ward at the top due to his arm strength and mobility. Sanders follows with good ball placement and toughness in the pocket. Louisville's Tanner Shough, Mississippi's Jaxson Dart, and Ohio State's Will Howard are noted for their experience and potential despite some concerns.

Matt Williamson emphasizes that while this year's class won't rival last year's talent, it still offers promising quarterbacks outside the first round. He highlights Jalen Milroe's athleticism and intelligence despite accuracy issues. Matt ranks Ward first for his playmaking traits and confidence, followed by Shough for his arm talent and experience.

Mike Prisuta reflects on last year's draft success but acknowledges more questions than projections this year. He ranks Ward highest for his explosive athleticism and arm strength. Dart follows for his development under quality coaching at Ole Miss. Milroe is praised for his physical skills comparable to Anthony Richardson of the Colts.

Despite differing opinions on rankings, all three analysts agree that this year's quarterback class holds potential if given time to develop in suitable environments.
