Steelers guard Isaac Seumalo has been selected for the Pro Bowl Games, stepping in for Kansas City Chiefs guard Trey Smith, who will not participate due to his involvement in the Super Bowl. This marks Seumalo's first appearance at the Pro Bowl.

During the 2024 season, Seumalo played in 13 games, starting each one despite missing four games because of a pectoral injury. He contributed to an offensive line that helped the Steelers achieve 11th place overall in rushing yards with a total of 2,166. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed only two sacks and one quarterback hit throughout the season.

In his second year with the Steelers, Seumalo started 30 games and provided veteran stability on the line. Over his nine-year NFL career, he has appeared in 111 games with 90 starts, including seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Seumalo joins other Steelers players named to the Pro Bowl Games: kicker Chris Boswell, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, and linebacker T.J. Watt were voted as starters. Special teams player Miles Killebrew was also named as an injury replacement. However, Watt will not participate due to an injury. Additionally, Darrel Young from the Steelers' staff has been appointed to serve on the AFC staff for this year's event alongside Marcus Pollard from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The traditional Pro Bowl game has evolved into what is now known as the Pro Bowl Games. This event includes a Skills Show and concludes with an AFC vs. NFC Flag Game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on February 2nd.

The Skills Show is scheduled for January 30th at 7 p.m., airing on ESPN from Nicholson Fieldhouse at UCF. It features various skills challenges designed for television audiences.

On February 2nd at 3 p.m., ESPN and ABC will broadcast both flag football and additional skill events like Tug-of-War and Punt Perfect from Camping World Stadium.

Events planned include:

- "Passing The Test," where quarterbacks aim for targets while earning extra time through trivia.

- "Satisfying Catches" by SNICKERS tests wide receivers', tight ends', and defensive backs' catching abilities.

- A relay race involving players dashing across a field.

- "Helmet Harmony," a team knowledge quiz.

- Bud Light's dodgeball tournament between mixed conference teams.

On Sunday:

- "Punt Perfect" challenges punters to score points by landing punts into buckets.

- "The Great Football Race" features multiple athletic challenges ending with a sled push.

- "Tug-of-War" involves teamwork over a foam pit where pulling opponents into it wins rounds.
