The Pittsburgh Penguins are set to face off against the Ottawa Senators at PPG Paints Arena. The game, part of a five-game homestand for the Penguins, is scheduled to start at 4 PM, with doors opening at 2:30 PM.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring their Terrible Towels to show support for the city's sports teams. The game will be broadcast on SportsNet Pittsburgh and ESPN+, while fans can also tune in via radio on 105.9 the X or through the Penguins app.

Pittsburgh's team record stands at 18-17-8, while Ottawa holds a record of 19-18-3. Historically, Pittsburgh has performed well against Ottawa, securing points in many of their recent encounters. However, they have lost their last two home games against the Senators but maintain a strong overall home record against them.

The first 7,500 attendees will receive a Jaromir Jagr bobblehead courtesy of PPG. PensGear exclusive shirts will also be available during each player's bobblehead giveaway this season.

Several players have been highlighted for their recent performances:

Sidney Crosby recorded his 11th multi-point outing of the season against Edmonton and is close to reaching several career milestones.

Rickard Rakell continues his scoring streak and leads Swedish-born NHL players in goals since December 4.

Kevin Hayes scored recently after re-entering the lineup and has been performing well alongside Drew O’Connor and Erik Karlsson who are both contributing significantly to the team's efforts.

Bryan Rust has historically played well against Ottawa and achieved another three-plus point game recently.

The Penguins will also host special events as part of their community engagement initiatives:

As part of "Meet the Penguins," aviary experts along with live penguin ambassadors from the National Aviary will visit PPG Paints Arena during tonight's game.

"Hockey Talks" will take place with various mental health organizations providing resources and information in support of mental health initiatives by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
