The 2025 NFL Draft is set to feature a promising class of running backs, with notable analysts Dale Lolley, Matt Williamson, and Mike Prisuta providing insights into the top prospects. The upcoming draft will be held in April.

Dale Lolley highlighted that the previous year saw several high-profile running backs switch teams during free agency due to a lack of depth in the draft. However, this year promises more options. "ESPN's Mel Kiper is on record as saying he has more than 30 running backs with draftable grades available this year," Lolley noted.

Leading Dale's list is Ashton Jeanty from Boise State, who is described as an explosive and high-volume runner. TreVeyon Henderson from Ohio State and Omarion Hampton from North Carolina are also featured prominently for their impressive skills and potential impact at the professional level.

Matt Williamson emphasized the strength of this year's running back class, stating it could be one of the strongest position groups in the draft. He pointed out that Ashton Jeanty might be considered "the best player in the 2025 NFL Draft" due to his comprehensive skill set.

Mike Prisuta discussed how teams looking for impactful additions at running back may find valuable options early in the draft. According to NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah, there could be a "Day 2 bonanza" for selections at this position. Peter Schrager of NFL Network suggested that Omarion Hampton's performance at the Combine may have narrowed the gap between him and Jeanty as potential top picks among running backs.

Overall, each analyst presented their own rankings and sleeper picks, showcasing a variety of talents expected to make significant contributions at the next level.
