The Pittsburgh Steelers have secured a spot in the NFL playoffs for the 34th time in their history. This achievement comes after losses by both the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, with the Dolphins falling to the Houston Texans and the Colts losing to the Denver Broncos.

The Steelers now hold a 36-27 record in postseason play and have moved up to third place overall in terms of playoff berths in NFL history. They broke a tie with the New York Giants, who have 33 playoff appearances.

Under Coach Mike Tomlin, this marks the 11th time that the Steelers have reached the playoffs. During his tenure, Tomlin has guided them to seven AFC North titles, three AFC Championship games, and two Super Bowl appearances, including a victory in Super Bowl XLIII.

Currently leading the AFC North division, the Steelers hold a season record of 10-4 following their recent loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
