Pittsburgh Review

The Pittsburgh Steelers have added running back Aaron Shampklin to their practice squad. Shampklin, who has been with the team during the offseason and preseason, had previously spent time on both the practice squad and the 53-man roster this season.

Shampklin initially joined the Steelers after signing a Reserve/Future contract at the end of the 2023 season. Before his tenure with Pittsburgh, he was part of the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023 and had stints with both the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys during the 2022 season.

During his college career at Harvard, Shampklin was recognized as a two-time All-Ivy League selection. He led the league in 2021 with an average of 92.8 rushing yards per game, concluding his collegiate career with 402 carries for 2,251 yards and 23 touchdowns.
