In a game held at Acrisure Stadium, Austin delivered a pivotal 73-yard punt return for a touchdown that broke a 9-9 tie in the third quarter. He further contributed with a 29-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter, helping secure a 26-18 victory for his team.
Austin's performance included three catches totaling 54 yards and marked his first career game with two touchdowns. His efforts were crucial in establishing a 23-9 lead for the Steelers.
Other players considered for the honor included outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who recorded seven tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. His strip-sack-recovery play came with three minutes left on the clock as the Steelers protected their lead.
