The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to don their Color Rush uniforms tonight as they face the New York Giants at Acrisure Stadium for Monday Night Football. This marks the first time in the 2024 season that the team will wear these uniforms, which have proven lucky in the past with a record of seven wins and three losses.

"It's a different jersey," defensive tackle Cameron Heyward stated. "I like to think we win more than we lose in them. We usually do it for a night game, and it provides an intensity and a rush, no pun intended."

The Color Rush uniform features a black jersey with gold numbers and stripes, complemented by all-black pants with a gold stripe. Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick expressed his preference for this design: "I just like the all-black look. I think it looks sleek."

Introduced primarily for Thursday Night Football games, these uniforms debuted on Christmas Day 2016 against the Baltimore Ravens. Tight end Pat Freiermuth appreciates how they unify the team: "It brings the collective together. It's something different, something to look forward to."

The upcoming game at Acrisure Stadium promises more than just football action, as fans can expect enhanced experiences both inside and outside the venue. Improvements include new technology, culinary options, and entertainment features aimed at elevating game day enjoyment.

Outside Gate A, fans can visit the Steel Yard—a space designed to mimic backyard tailgating with free admission. Inside, highlights include a revamped Terrible Towel Wall in the FedEx Great Hall and expanded food and beverage offerings such as the Miller Lite Renegade Pub.

Acrisure Stadium has integrated new technology features into its mobile app to assist fans with stadium navigation and ticketing. ChargeFuze Stations throughout ensure devices remain powered during events.

Fans are encouraged to enter early to catch pregame activities such as fireworks displays courtesy of Zambelli Fireworks and live performances by Celtic Thunder singing the national anthem.

In addition to game-related festivities, community initiatives also take center stage. The organization 412 Food Rescue is spotlighted for its efforts in combating food insecurity through partnerships with local businesses.

Security measures include cashless transactions and adherence to NFL's CLEAR BAG POLICY for expedited entry.

For those unable to attend in person, multiple viewing options are available including ESPN broadcasts locally on WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh and audio streams via SiriusXM or Steelers Nation Radio.
