Darin Flippo from Jonesboro, TN, raised a question about the impact of the Diontae Johnson trade on the Steelers' offense. The team exchanged Johnson for cornerback Donte Jackson and swapped draft picks with Carolina. "Not having Diontae Johnson undoubtedly has impacted the pass offense in a negative way," but acquiring Jackson "undoubtedly has impacted the pass defense in a positive way." The trade seems to be more challenging to find a skilled cornerback than a receiver.

Nicholas Pelchar from Purcellville, VA, asked about using T.J. Watt in coverage against teams like Dallas. The response emphasized Watt's value as a pass-rusher, particularly in third-and-long situations: "Having him drop into coverage can be utilized in some situations...but third-and-long is not the time."

Wayne Phillips from Spring Hill, FL, sought clarification on the limited use of tight ends like Pat Freiermuth in the passing game. The answer pointed to injuries and changes along the offensive line affecting play plans. Coach Mike Tomlin noted Freiermuth's role: "He's a tight end, but he is a receiver in that he is a central component of what we do."

William Young from Baden, PA, questioned whether Russell Wilson should start over Justin Fields following two losses. While Fields wasn't blamed for the losses, Wilson's experience was highlighted as beneficial: "He is experienced in ways that only a long and successful career can provide."

Mike Palombo from McMurray, PA, asked how defenses are ranked based on points allowed. It was clarified that rankings use total points allowed per game without excluding scores given up when the defense wasn't on the field.

Chris Hughes from Vacaville, CA, wanted to know what color jerseys the Steelers would wear against Las Vegas Raiders on October 13th. The Steelers will wear white jerseys for this game.

Roy Perrin from Raleigh, NC, mentioned Coach Mike Tomlin's comments on Isaiahh Loudermilk’s skill set regarding edge rushing. Tomlin stated: "He and (DeMarvin) Leal are defensive linemen who are participants on special teams...that speaks to their unique skill-sets."

Rod Keefer from Edmond, OK suggested polling viewers to decide close plays during games. This idea was dismissed as impractical due to potential biases among viewers: "I sincerely hope I am dead and buried long before the NFL would even consider such an absurd system."
