The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for their upcoming game against the Las Vegas Raiders with several key players absent from practice. Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed that defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal, outside linebackers Alex Highsmith and Nick Herbig, and running back Cordarrelle Patterson will not be participating this week due to various injuries. Their absence leaves a gap in the team's lineup, especially among outside rushers.

Jeremiah Moon has been activated from the Reserve/Injured List and will be joining the roster. Defensive lineman Isaiahh Loudermilk is expected to provide additional support on the outside. "We've done that in the past, and we will moving forward," said Tomlin regarding Loudermilk's versatility.

Tight end MyCole Pruitt and running back Jaylen Warren are both doubtful for Sunday's game but have made some progress by participating in practice on a limited basis. Safety Damontae Kazee also remains doubtful after an ankle injury sustained before a previous game.

Coach Tomlin provided an update on quarterback Russell Wilson's recovery from a calf injury. Wilson was a full participant in Wednesday's practice for the first time this season. "We're in a little bit of a different place with Russ this week than we have been in recent weeks," said Tomlin. The decision about Wilson's potential participation remains hypothetical until his condition improves further.

Wilson is currently listed as the third quarterback option behind Justin Fields and Kyle Allen. Tomlin emphasized that decisions would be made based on Wilson's performance during practice sessions.
