The Steelers have elevated defensive back Thomas Graham Jr. and running back Aaron Shampklin from the practice squad to the Active/Inactive Roster for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. Both players will return to the practice squad after the game.

In addition, guard Isaac Seumalo has been downgraded to out earlier today.

Graham was signed to a Reserve/Future contract at the end of the 2023 season and added to the practice squad at the beginning of this season. He was originally drafted by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Graham played in four games for the Bears, recording 13 tackles and four passes defensed. He also spent time on their practice squad before being signed by the Cleveland Browns early in the 2022 season. At the University of Oregon, he finished his career with 182 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, eight interceptions, 40 passes defensed, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Shampklin spent time with the team throughout both offseason and preseason but was waived on final roster cut and returned to the practice squad. He originally joined the Steelers by signing a Reserve/Future contract at the end of last year. Before that, he had stints with both Los Angeles Chargers in 2023 and Indianapolis Colts as well as Dallas Cowboys during part of 2022 season. At Harvard, Shampklin was a two-time All-Ivy League selection leading league with an average of 92.8 rushing yards per game in 2021 finishing his career there with 402 carries totaling 2,251 yards along with scoring 23 touchdowns.
