Seth Beer-Stein Giveaway

Amarillo Sod Poodles (Double-A AZ), Aug. 8

The Sod Poodles will distribute team-logo beer steins on August 8. Last year, Seth Beer hit a home run during the giveaway game. Now playing for Triple-A Indianapolis after being selected by Pittsburgh in the Minor League phase of the Rule 5 Draft, Beer is honored with a "Seth Beer-stein" this year.

Gerald Ford Bobblehead Giveaway and 50th Anniversary Celebration

West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A DET), Aug. 9

The West Michigan Whitecaps will celebrate Gerald Ford's 50th inauguration anniversary with a bobblehead giveaway on August 9. Ford grew up in Grand Rapids and attended a Whitecaps game in 1995.

Seinfeld Night

Brooklyn Cyclones (High-A NYM), Aug. 10

The Brooklyn Cyclones' annual “Seinfeld Night” continues with a George Costanza bobblehead giveaway on August 10. The event includes appearances by actors from the show and an Elaine Dance Contest after the game.

Raft Racers

Tulsa Drillers (Double-A LAD), Aug. 14-18

From August 14-18, the Tulsa Drillers will play as the Raft Racers during their local area code-referencing weekend. The event pays tribute to an Arkansas River racing tradition dating back to 1973.

Maine Lobster Bakes

Portland Sea Dogs (Double-A BOS), Aug. 23

On August 23, the Portland Sea Dogs will adopt the identity of Maine Lobster Bakes for one night only, featuring themed jerseys and logos.

New Hampshire Primaries

New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Double-A TOR), Aug. 23

In light of the presidential election year, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats will revive their “Primaries” identity on August 23 with star-spangled jerseys featuring both major political parties' symbols.
