65 percent of applicants to Point Park University were admitted for fall 2018

At Point Park University, 78 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Pittsburgh enrolled 4,099 students in fall 2018, including 3,196 in undergraduate and 903 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

64 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 35 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (71 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).

The school admitted 65 percent of the 5,834 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 16 percent enrolled.
