Rep. Summer Lee, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 12th district, has recently expressed her concerns over several pressing issues through social media posts. Her tweets address topics ranging from governmental competence to economic disparities and social security challenges.

On March 24, 2025, Rep. Summer Lee criticized the current administration for its perceived inadequacies, stating "The incompetence is astounding. The 'mistakes' this administration are making are beyond reckless and dangerous." She further emphasized her disbelief by adding, "You can’t make this up."

In another tweet dated March 25, 2025, she highlighted the worsening gender wage gap on #EqualPayDay. She noted that "for the first time in 20 years, the gender wage gap is getting worse while Trump rolls back the very protections that help women find out they’re being underpaid." She attributed this issue to systemic historical injustices: "This gap didn’t just 'happen.' It was built on centuries of racism, sexism, and exploitation."

Later on March 25, Rep. Lee addressed changes to Social Security management under former President Trump and Elon Musk's influence. She stated that "Trump & Elon Musk have intentionally plunged Social Security into crisis—cutting staff, crashing websites, and leaving millions of seniors and disabled folks feeling stranded." She concluded by asserting that these actions represent sabotage rather than reform.
