The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed quarterback Mason Rudolph to a two-year contract. Rudolph, who started his NFL career with the Steelers as a third-round pick in the 2018 draft, spent six seasons with the team before joining the Tennessee Titans in 2024.

Rudolph has participated in 29 career games, starting in 18 of them. His overall performance includes completing 437 out of 686 passes for a completion rate of 63.7%, accumulating 4,615 yards and scoring 28 touchdowns.

During his time with the Titans in 2024, Rudolph appeared in eight games and started five. He completed 146 out of 228 passes, resulting in a completion percentage of 64%, covering a total of 1,530 yards and nine touchdowns.

While playing for the Steelers previously, he started in 13 out of the total 21 games he played. He achieved a completion rate of 63.5% by completing 291 out of his attempted passes for a total gain of 3,085 yards and secured 19 touchdowns.

In the year prior to joining Tennessee, Rudolph took on significant responsibility during the last three games after starter Kenny Pickett was injured. He led the team to three consecutive victories and secured an AFC Wild Card berth. In those four games, he completed an impressive percentage (74.3%) of his passes totaling up to 719 yards and scored three touchdowns.

Earlier in his career during the year of 2019, Rudolph had more opportunities on field when he started eight out of ten games he participated in; completing passes that summed up to over seventeen hundred yards along with thirteen touchdown scores.

Rudolph's college tenure at Oklahoma State University was marked by success as he became their most victorious quarterback ever recorded within school history through leading them into thirty-two wins versus nine losses throughout forty-one starts altogether while setting fifty-four different school records individually too.
