Defensive tackle Montravius Adams Sr. has returned to practice with the Pittsburgh Steelers, though he remains on the Reserve/Injured, Designated for Return List. The team now has a 21-day period to decide whether to activate him to the 53-man roster or keep him out for the rest of the season.
Adams was placed on the Reserve/Injured List on October 22 due to a knee injury. Before his injury, he played in seven games this season, recording eight tackles, including five solo stops and one sack.
Throughout his career, Adams has participated in 92 games with 24 starts. He has accumulated 117 career tackles, with 57 being solo stops, and two and a half sacks.
Originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Adams spent four seasons with them before joining the New England Patriots in 2021. He also had a stint with the New Orleans Saints during that season before being claimed by the Steelers from their practice squad.
