The Pittsburgh Steelers emerged victorious against the Baltimore Ravens in a tightly contested AFC North game, winning 18-16. The decisive moment came when Joey Porter stopped Lamar Jackson on a two-point conversion attempt, forcing an incomplete pass.

"It was a tough, hard-fought game. It always is," said Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin. "We're just really appreciative of being in these games because we realize the growth associated with it when you get it done."

The Ravens entered the match boasting the NFL's top offense and rushing attack. However, the Steelers' defense limited Derrick Henry to 65 yards on 13 carries. Tomlin praised his team's defensive effort: "I like the way our guys responded to the challenge... They have good schematics."

Linebacker Patrick Queen led with ten tackles, a forced fumble, and a recovery against his former team. "One man's trash is another man's treasure," commented Tomlin about Queen's performance.

Kicker Chris Boswell scored all of Pittsburgh's points through six field goals, three from beyond 50 yards. "I love Boz," joked Tomlin about Boswell's likely player of the week award.

Looking ahead, Tomlin noted their upcoming Thursday night game in Cleveland: "We have another AFC North battle waiting on us... We won't waste too much time patting ourselves on the back."

Receiver George Pickens highlighted how their offense adapted to unexpected defensive schemes from Baltimore: "A lot of them... weren't the looks from film." Quarterback Russell Wilson acknowledged this challenge but commended his team's ability to adjust and secure key plays as needed.

Wilson also expressed gratitude for his first experience in this rivalry: "Winning is everything... It's such an honor to be a Pittsburgh Steeler." He finished with 205 passing yards and one interception.

Patrick Queen reflected on facing his former team without animosity: "I woke up this morning, and I didn't feel any anger... God put me in this place for a reason."

Receiver George Pickens remains crucial for Wilson's offensive strategy with eight receptions totaling 89 yards against Baltimore. Despite not scoring touchdowns, they maintained efficiency leading to Boswell’s successful field goals.
