The Pittsburgh Steelers ended their two-game losing streak with a commanding 32-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The victory leaves the Steelers with a 4-2 record and optimism about their performance. The game saw the offensive line remain consistent for the second consecutive week, leading to the most productive running game of the season with 183 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Najee Harris was pivotal in this success, achieving 106 yards on 14 carries, including gains of 13, 15, 26, and a standout 36-yard touchdown. "I just thought it was a collective effort," said Coach Mike Tomlin about the running game. He credited not only Harris but also the blocking efforts from linemen and tight ends Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington.

Quarterback Justin Fields contributed significantly with his mobility, recording key runs that helped secure the win. Despite his rushing prowess, questions remain about Fields' passing abilities as he completed only 14 of 24 attempts for 145 yards.

The Steelers' defense played a crucial role by securing three takeaways. Special teams also made an impact with a blocked punt recovered at the Raiders' nine-yard line.

Russell Wilson was listed as the No. 2 quarterback after being cleared medically to practice fully. Coach Tomlin expressed satisfaction with Wilson's progress: "First and foremost, my No.1 agenda was that I wanted him to be able to display his health." With Wilson back in action, competition for the starting quarterback position is expected to intensify.

Looking ahead, Tomlin faces decisions regarding Wilson's role as the team navigates a challenging schedule that includes games against formidable opponents like Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs. "Now is when they have a defense and special teams that look capable of handling their ends of the bargain," noted Tomlin.

The focus remains on maintaining momentum through an upcoming stretch of games requiring more than just a strong running game from the offense. As Tomlin emphasized: "Finding out if Wilson has what it takes to be the difference makes too much sense."
