In his fourth start with the Steelers, quarterback Justin Fields showed significant progress despite the team's 27-24 loss to Indianapolis. Fields completed 22 of 34 passes for a total of 312 yards, achieving a completion rate of 64.7 percent. He threw one touchdown pass, avoided interceptions, and ended the game with a rating of 104.0.

Fields also led the team in rushing, gaining 55 yards on ten carries and scoring two touchdowns. This game marked the first time this season that the Steelers scored three touchdowns in a single game. Additionally, it was their first regular-season game since October 9, 2022, where a quarterback passed for over 300 yards.

As a result of his performance, Fields has been named the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.

Other players considered for this recognition included wide receiver George Pickens, who caught seven passes for 113 yards; defensive tackle Cam Heyward, who recorded six tackles and one sack; running back Cordarrelle Patterson, who rushed for 43 yards on six carries and caught two passes before an ankle injury forced him out before halftime; strong safety DeShon Elliott, who led with twelve tackles; and tight end Pat Freiermuth, who caught five passes for fifty-seven yards including an eight-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
