Allegheny County issued the following announcement on Jul. 15.
The Department of Public Works announced today that Cochran Mill Road has reopened to traffic between Wilson Road and Stilley Road in Jefferson Hills Borough.
The road has been closed since July 9, 2021 following storms that caused the roadway asphalt to buckle and washed away the berm near the intersection of Cochran Mill Road and West Bruceton Road.
Public Works crews milled and paved the road as well as backfilled to reestablish the berm.
