68 percent of applicants to Mercy Hospital School of Nursing were admitted for fall 2018

At Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, 50 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 82 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private not-for-profit institution in Pittsburgh enrolled 173 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (82 percent) and Black or African American (10 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 22 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 80 percent enrolled.
