On Sunday, March 9, former Central Catholic High School standout Will Ray’s current college team, the Wake Forest Deacons, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.

The Deacons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Springs Brooks Stadium against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
