U.S. Representative Summer Lee, who serves Pennsylvania’s 12th district, recently addressed issues ranging from food pricing to the pursuit of justice for abuse survivors in a series of posts on her official X (formerly Twitter) account.
On February 2, 2026, Lee posted a message suggesting that PepsiCo may be contributing to higher food costs for consumers. She stated, “Pepsi might be making your food costs more expensive. I joined @SenWarren & @RepJerryNadler in pressing PepsiCo and the FTC for answers on their collusion and discriminatory pricing schemes. Big corporations like these don’t need more of a break, they need to be held”. The post highlights ongoing concerns about corporate practices and their impact on everyday expenses.
In another post dated February 3, 2026, Lee turned her attention to victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse. She wrote, “Let’s remember what this is really about––the survivors and victims of Epstein’s abuse. Their courage is inspiring, and they are the reason we are fighting for justice and accountability.” This statement underscores her support for efforts aimed at seeking justice for those affected by high-profile abuse cases.
Representative Lee has been serving in Congress since 2023 after replacing Mike Doyle. Before her current role, she was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2019 to 2022. Born in Pittsburgh in 1987 and currently residing in Swissvale, Lee holds a BA from Pennsylvania State University and a JD from Howard University.
