Summer Lee was elected to represent Pennsylvania’s 12th congressional district in 2023 after serving four years in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2019 to 2022. She succeeded Mike Doyle as representative for her district. Born in Pittsburgh in 1987 and currently residing in Swissvale at age 35, Lee holds a BA from Pennsylvania State University (2009) and a JD from Howard University (2015).
