The Steelers have signed offensive lineman Calvin Anderson to a two-year contract. Anderson, who joined the Steelers during the 2024 season, played in four games before ending the regular season on the Reserve/Injured List. He returned to participate in the Steelers' Wild Card Game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent after the 2019 NFL Draft, Anderson has participated in 50 career games, starting 14 times. His early career included stints with the Patriots and the New York Jets before he joined the Denver Broncos' 53-man roster in 2019.

Throughout the 2020 season, Anderson played in all 16 games for the Broncos, completing one start each at right tackle and left tackle. In 2021, he made 11 appearances with three starts at left tackle. During the 2022 season, Anderson played 14 games for Denver, starting seven at left tackle. He gave up just two sacks and incurred no holding penalties.

As an unrestricted free agent, Anderson signed with the New England Patriots before the 2023 season, playing in five games and starting twice before being sidelined on the Reserve/Injured List.

During his college career at the University of Texas, Anderson started all 14 games in his senior year and was awarded All-Big 12 Conference honors in 2018. He began at Rice University, where he played in 36 games and received honorable-mention All-Conference USA accolades in 2016 and 2017.
