Regular readers of the "Asked and Answered" feature know that L.C. Greenwood is often mentioned in discussions about the Pro Football Hall of Fame. While Jared Allen's election to the Hall has raised questions, it should be noted that his achievements are distinct from those of Greenwood. Jeremy Bergman from NFL.com writes about Allen, highlighting his 12-year career and achievements such as being a four-time first-team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowl pass rusher.

"A four-time first-team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowl pass rusher, Allen has parlayed a 12-year career filled with sack (celebrations) and eccentric hairdos into a gold jacket," Bergman stated. Allen started his career in Kansas City and later played for the Vikings, where he achieved an NFL-best 15.5-sack season in 2007. He finished his career with 136 sacks, placing him 12th all time.

Allen was elected as a Modern-Era candidate, while Greenwood is now only eligible as a Seniors Candidate, which impacts their chances due to voting differences.

The Pittsburgh Steelers face several questions regarding their offseason strategy. Ken Wamsley from Bidwell, Ohio asked about the possibility of drafting a wide receiver in the first round or re-signing Najee Harris. The response indicated that both wide receiver and defensive line positions need attention during the draft.

Mark DiGiovanna from Liberty Hill, California expressed concerns about recent kickoff changes in the NFL. Despite these concerns, changes have led to reduced concussions, suggesting they may remain in place.

Spencer Anderson's performance at guard has been noticed by Norm Brennan from Chachagui, Colombia. Anderson's versatility could earn him another contract after his initial one expires.

Nathan Cooper from Hanover, Pennsylvania inquired about quarterback signings following Art Rooney II's comments on prioritizing this position. The focus remains on signing either Russell Wilson or Justin Fields to allocate resources effectively.

Lori Stulmanis from Feasterville, Pennsylvania asked if Sam Darnold would be considered if neither Wilson nor Fields are signed. The response indicated openness to various options if needed.

David Pollard from Warrington, UK asked about Joe Gilliam's participation in Super Bowls IX and X; records show he did not play in those games.

Larry Hall from Austin, Texas questioned whether both Justin Fields and Russell Wilson could join the team under two-year deals. This scenario seems unlikely due to both quarterbacks' desire to start.

Lee Johnson from Midland, Virginia wanted to know when Ben Roethlisberger becomes eligible for the Hall of Fame; it will be in 2027.

Finally, Marc Roszler from Tucson, Arizona queried whether the salary cap includes coaches or support staff; it only covers players according to current rules.
