Art Rooney II, President of the Pittsburgh Steelers, has expressed condolences following the death of Virginia McCaskey. In a statement, Rooney said, "We are saddened to learn of the passing of Virginia McCaskey. Her quiet, determined leadership of the Chicago Bears for so many years has been a wonderful example to everyone connected to the NFL Family."
Rooney extended his sympathies on behalf of both his family and the Steelers organization. "On behalf of the Rooney Family and the Steelers organization, we extend our deepest sympathy to the McCaskey family," he added.
Virginia McCaskey was known for her long-standing role in leading the Chicago Bears.
