The Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) has announced its annual All-Rookie team, including Steelers center Zach Frazier among the honorees. Frazier was drafted by the Steelers in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft as the 51st overall pick from West Virginia.

Frazier's performance earned him the Joe Greene Great Performance Award, given to the team's top rookie by the Pittsburgh Chapter of PFWA. He started as a key player for the Steelers from Week 1, participating in 15 games and missing two due to injury. He also played in the Steelers' Wild Card game.

Reflecting on his first year, Frazier stated, "I feel like my rookie year flew by. I feel like we were just in Latrobe and now the season is over, and I am moving on to Year 2." He added that transitioning from college to professional football was a significant learning experience.

Understanding his role within a storied franchise, Frazier said, "I just know how much offensive line means to the Pittsburgh Steelers, their long tradition of having great o-linemen and great offensive lines. It's special." He committed to being "a hard worker who is going to give everything he has to the organization to win football games."

In related news, PFWA also announced its All-NFL and All-AFC teams earlier this week. Among those recognized were Steelers players Chris Boswell, Cameron Heyward, and T.J. Watt, who were named to both teams.
