Multiple players from the Pittsburgh Steelers have been honored by being named to the Associated Press All-Pro team. Kicker Chris Boswell and defensive tackle Cameron Heyward received First-Team AP All-Pro honors, while linebacker T.J. Watt was named to the Second-Team.

Boswell, who also made it to the NFLPA Players' All-Pro team and Pro Bowl Games, achieved this recognition for the first time in his career. He led the NFL with 41 successful field goals out of 44 attempts, a completion rate of 93.2%. Additionally, he was perfect on all 35 extra point attempts and scored 158 points overall. His performance set new records for both field goals made and total points by a kicker in Steelers history.

Coach Mike Tomlin praised Boswell's achievements: "What can you say about Chris Boswell in 2024 that hadn't been written or said," he stated. "He's been everything that we need him to be."

Heyward has now been selected to the AP All-Pro team five times throughout his career, including four times as a First-Team selection. He recorded impressive statistics this season with 71 tackles, eight sacks, and several other key defensive plays.

"Cam's a heck of a player," remarked outside linebacker T.J. Watt about Heyward's consistent performance.

Watt himself has also had an outstanding season, earning his fifth AP All-Pro selection with his second-team honor this year. He finished with notable statistics such as 11.5 sacks and six forced fumbles over the course of all 17 games played.

"No question he is relentless," Coach Tomlin commented on Watt's dedication.

Watt reached his milestone of 100 career sacks against the Dallas Cowboys earlier this season, becoming one of only three players to achieve this before turning 30 years old.

Hall of Fame Coach Bill Cowher emphasized Watt's impact: "He is a defensive player of the year candidate...a first ballot Hall of Fame player."
