The NFL Players Association has unveiled its annual Players' All-Pro team, with selections made exclusively by NFL players. Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell and special teamer Miles Killebrew have been named to the First-Team NFLPA Players' All-Pro list. Boswell earned his spot as a 'long kicker,' while Killebrew was recognized as a 'core teamer.' Both are first-time selections for this honor.

Players were tasked with voting for those who had the most impact during the season at their respective positions, as well as opponents they face on the field. Boswell, who also secured a spot in the Pro Bowl Games, achieved an impressive 93.2% success rate on field goal attempts this season, making 41 out of 44 attempts. He was flawless on all 35 extra point attempts and successfully converted 13 field goals from distances of 50 yards or more.

Coach Mike Tomlin praised Boswell's performance throughout the year, stating: "What can you say about Chris Boswell in 2024 that hadn't been written or said? He's been everything that we need him to be." Tomlin highlighted Boswell's ability to perform under various circumstances and adapt to changes mid-season.

Boswell's notable achievements include being named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his six-field-goal performance against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11 and receiving the same honor in Week 1 against the Falcons. He was also awarded AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for both September and October.

Miles Killebrew, another key player for the Steelers, had a strong season in 2024 following his selection to both the Pro Bowl Games and Associated Press All-Pro in 2023. As captain of the Steelers' special teams, Killebrew recorded 13 special teams tackles, including eight solo stops. Since joining the Steelers in 2021, he has blocked three punts and boasts four blocked punts over his career.

Killebrew expressed enthusiasm about changes within the team's special teams unit: "It's become a culture shift," he remarked regarding their focus on blocking kicks. He emphasized how much attention is paid to detail when preparing for kick blocks.

The criteria for player voting stipulate that only active NFL players can participate, each casting one vote. Players who missed five or more games by Week 15 are deemed ineligible to ensure selection reflects impactful performances throughout the season. Additionally, players cannot vote for themselves or teammates but must vote within their position groupings.
