For the 24th consecutive season, the Pittsburgh Steelers are sending multiple players to the Pro Bowl Games. This marks the 33rd time in the last 36 seasons that they have achieved this feat. Four Steelers players—kicker Chris Boswell, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, and linebacker T.J. Watt—have been selected as starters for the event.

Chris Boswell is making his second Pro Bowl appearance and his first since 2017. He connected on an NFL-high of 40 out of 43 field goal attempts this season and was perfect on all extra point attempts. "What can you say about Chris Boswell in 2024 that hadn't been written or said," said Coach Mike Tomlin. "He's been everything that we need him to be."

Minkah Fitzpatrick has been chosen for the Pro Bowl for the fifth time in his career. Fitzpatrick started all 16 games this season, recording significant tackles and interceptions. Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin described him as a perfectionist: "He is always searching for perfection, and it doesn't matter what it is."

Cameron Heyward was selected to the Pro Bowl Games for the seventh time in his career. He has remained healthy throughout one of his most consistent seasons in 2024. Teammate T.J. Watt praised Heyward's work ethic: "No surprises out of all of us in this locker room because I've seen how much he's worked."

T.J. Watt continues to impress with another stellar season, being voted into the Pro Bowl Games for the seventh time as well. Coach Tomlin remarked on Watt's relentless nature: "He's not hungry... He's driven." Hall of Fame Coach Bill Cowher also commented on Watt's impact: "He is a guy that can change a game."

The traditional Pro Bowl game has been replaced by the Pro Bowl Games, culminating with an AFC vs NFC Flag Game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on February 2nd.

"The Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon celebrates the biggest stars in the NFL," said Peter O'Reilly, NFL executive vice president of events, club business.
