Pittsburgh Review

The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the return of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Championship games to over-the-air television broadcast for a second consecutive year. The games, held at Acrisure Stadium, will be aired on KDKA+ on Saturday, November 23.

The Steelers have partnered with Acrisure, Giant Eagle, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Spread Group for this event. Dan Rooney, the Steelers Director of Business Development & Strategy, stated: "We are proud to bring the WPIAL Championship games played at Acrisure Stadium back to broadcast television for the second straight year." He added that televising these games provides an additional platform for Western Pennsylvania to enjoy high school football.

The schedule for the championship games is as follows:

- Class 1A at 11 a.m.

- Class 2A at 2 p.m.

- Class 3A at 5 p.m.

- Class 5A at 8 p.m.

Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.com. Besides being televised on KDKA+, fans can stream the games online via NFHSNetwork.com. The Steelers' Youth Football social media channels will also cover the events throughout the day.

In addition to broadcasting these championship games, the Steelers continue their support of youth and high school football in Western Pennsylvania. This includes hosting a spring girls flag football league and summer youth football camps. Their feature program, "The Steelers High School Showcase Game of the Week," presented by Giant Eagle, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Spread Group, broadcasts weekly on KDKA+.
