The Pittsburgh Penguins are set to wrap up their three-game road trip with a match against the Washington Capitals in Washington, D.C. This encounter will be available for streaming exclusively on ESPN+ and Hulu. Fans can also tune in to 105.9 the X or use the Penguins app to listen live.

As of now, the Penguins hold a record of 5-8-2, while the Capitals stand at 9-3-0.

Sidney Crosby is nearing a milestone as he approaches his 600th NHL goal with the Penguins. He currently has 90 points against Washington and is just one point away from tying Mark Messier's record of 91 points for seventh-most against the Capitals in NHL history.

In terms of defensemen, Kris Letang leads with seven goals and 26 assists (33 points) against Washington among active players, followed closely by Erik Karlsson who has four goals and 25 assists (29 points).

Michael Bunting has shown strong performance against Washington, scoring five goals and earning six points over eight career games. Matt Grzelcyk also stands out with five assists over his last eight games since October 22nd, making him Pittsburgh's top-scoring defenseman during this period.

When both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin score in a game, the Penguins boast an impressive overall record of 389 wins, 90 losses, and 48 ties.
