Steelers High School Showcase Game of the Week returns with enhanced coverage

The Steelers High School Showcase Game of the Week, presented by Giant Eagle and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, returns for the 2024 season. The initiative aims to bolster youth football in Western Pennsylvania.

This season introduces a new feature: weekly broadcasts of the showcased games on KDKA+. The first game will see Central Valley facing Montour on Friday, Aug. 23, with kickoff at 7 p.m.

Viewers can catch all the action on KDKA+, available through various providers in the Pittsburgh market:

- Armstrong Cable: Channel 6 / Channel 110 (HD)

- Comcast Cable: Channel 15 / Channel 808 (HD)

- Comcast Cable (Bethel Park I & II McKees Rocks): Channel 22 / Channel 808 (HD)

- Comcast Cable (New Castle): Channel 14 / Channel 808 (HD)

- Comcast Cable (Monroeville): Channel 2 / Channel 808 (HD)

- Verizon FIOS: Channel 3 / Channel 503 (HD)

- DISH: Channel 19 / Channel 8135 (HD)

- DIRECT TV: Channel 19 / Channel 948 (HD)

The Steelers have partnered with JRM Video Production for these broadcasts. The announcing team includes Matt Farago, John Petrishen, and sideline reporter Suzie Cool.

In addition to TV coverage, live social media updates will be provided on the team's official Youth Football platforms. Highlights packages will also be shared on these platforms and on Steelers.com. Further highlights will be featured during Steelers home games at Acrisure Stadium.
