Here is the latest update on injuries and roster moves involving MLB Pipeline's Top 100 prospects:

No. 25 Jasson Domínguez, OF, Yankees

Injury: Left oblique strain

Expected return: September

Domínguez took live BP in Tampa and is joining Scranton/Wilkes-Barre tomorrow to begin his rehab assignment within the next week, according to Yankees manager Aaron Boone. Domínguez was placed on the injured list after feeling a tweak near his left oblique on a checked swing while playing for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on June 15. Tests revealed that the 21-year-old Domínguez has a significant strain in the oblique, Boone said on June 20.

No. 68 Hurston Waldrep, RHP, Braves

Injury: Right elbow inflammation

Expected Return: TBD

Waldrep started his rehab assignment with a start for the FCL Braves on July 23, striking out two batters and allowing one run and two hits in two frames. Waldrep was placed on the injured list after telling the team's trainers he was dealing with right elbow discomfort following a June 16 start against the Rays.

No. 100 Braxton Ashcraft, RHP, Pirates

Injury: Minor forearm soreness

Expected return: First week of August

Ashcraft was performing well for Triple-A Indy before sustaining his injury. He allowed just one run in four appearances, striking out 13 batters in 18 1/3 frames before being placed on the IL on July 12.

No. 3 Junior Caminero, INF, Rays

Injury: Left quad strain

Expected return: Reinstated from Minor League IL

Junior Caminero was reinstated from the Minor League IL to join Triple-A Durham coming out of the All-Star break. The slugging third baseman made his Major League debut last September but was sidelined by a left quad strain three games into the 2024 Triple-A season.

No. 8 Jordan Lawlar, SS, Diamondbacks

Injury: Left hamstring strain

Expected return: Potentially late August/early September

Two games into a rehab assignment in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League, Lawlar reinjured his left hamstring and is expected to miss six to eight weeks.

No. 10 Max Clark, OF, Tigers

Promoted to High-A West Michigan

Clark slashed .286/.386/.421 with seven homers and 26 stolen bases across Single-A Lakeland this season before receiving his promotion.

No. 17 Cade Horton, RHP, Cubs

Injury: Right lat strain

Expected return: July

Horton is in the early stages of a throwing program after being diagnosed with a right lat strain on June 4.

No.19 Andrew Painter,RHP ,Phillies

Injury :Partial tear in right elbow

Expected return :2025

Painter has progressed to throwing off a mound after undergoing Tommy John surgery in late July 2023.

No .21 Jeferson Quero,C,Brewers

Injury:Torn labrum in right shoulder

Expected return :2025

Quero underwent season-ending surgery for a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder .

No .26 Emmanuel Rodriguez ,OF,Twins Injury :Right thumb strain Expected return:TBD Rodriguez reaggravated his thumb injury during his rehab assignment earlier this month .

No .28 Chase DeLauter ,OF ,Guardians Injury :Fractured foot /sprain toe Expected return:TBD DeLauter began a rehab assignment at Rookie-level Arizona Complex League after suffering foot injuries earlier this season .

No .30 Jett Williams ,SS /OF,Mets Injury :Right wrist soreness Expected return :August Williams underwent surgery due to persistent wrist soreness .

No .34 Owen Caissie ,OF,Cubs Injury :Back tightness Caissie returned to action after missing two weeks due to back tightness .

No .41 Tink Hence,RHP ,Cardinals Injury :Cramping Expected return :Early July Hence left his start due to cramping but is expected back soon .

No .44 Ricky Tiedemann,LHP ,Blue Jays Injury :Left forearm tightness Expected return:TBD Tiedemann experienced forearm tightness and plans to get a second opinion .

No .48 Edwin Arroyo ,SS,Reds Injury :Left shoulder surgery Estimated return :2025 Arroyo is out for the season after having surgery during Spring Training .

No .49 Jacob Wilson ,SS,Athletics Injury :Left hamstring strain Expected return:TBD Wilson strained his hamstring during his big league debut .

No .55 Jordan Beck ,OF ,Rockies Injury Broken left hand Expected Return July Beck is working out at team’s complex recovering from broken hand injury sustained earlier this year

No60 Orelvis Martinez2B Blue Jays Injury Suspension Expected Return End of September Martinez received an -game suspension testing positive performance-enhancing substance

No63 Kevin McGonigle SS Tigers Promoted High West Michigan McGonigle posted impressive numbers Single A Lakeland promoted High West Michigan

No72 Edgar Quero C White Sox Promoted Triple Charlotte Quero had solid performance Double Birmingham promoted Triple Charlotte
