Steelers fans gathered in various locations including Pittsburgh, Mexico City, and Dublin to celebrate the 2025 NFL Draft and welcome the new draft class. In Pittsburgh, around 1,800 fans attended the Draft Party at Stage AE, where Steelers legend Casey Hampton greeted season ticket holders. Current long snapper Christian Kuntz also engaged fans with a live broadcast of his podcast. The main attraction was the announcement of defensive tackle Derrick Harmon as the team’s No. 1 draft pick.

In Mexico City, the Steelers hosted their first-ever Draft Party at Fronton Bucareli on the initial night of the NFL Draft, attracting more than 500 fans. Attendees included current players Keeanu Benton and DeShon Elliott, as well as Steelers legend Willie Colon and Diana Flores, a star quarterback and Women’s Flag Football ambassador. Willie Colon remarked on the significance of these events: “It’s important to do events like this because a lot of people don’t have the opportunity to land in Pittsburgh or go to an NFL game.”

A similar enthusiasm was seen at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland, where over 300 fans gathered in anticipation of the Steelers’ regular-season game there in 2025. Steelers legend Brett Keisel attended and enjoyed the event alongside Irish fans, sharing autographs and announcing draft picks. Keisel reflected on his visit to Ireland, referencing Mr. Dan Rooney’s connection to the country: “He always talked about Ireland, ended up being the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, and spent a few years there going back and forth.”

Overall, these events fostered a sense of community among international Steelers fans and showcased their enthusiasm for the team.
