It remains unclear who the Pittsburgh Steelers will select in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, but the individuals who will announce these selections have been confirmed. As has been the tradition, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will announce the Steelers’ first-round pick, which is the 21st overall.
Following the initial announcement, various familiar faces from the Steelers community will continue the tradition. Hall of Fame receiver Lynn Swann will announce the Steelers’ third-round pick in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where the 2025 NFL Draft is set to take place. Swann, reminiscing about his own draft day, said, “The Steelers called and made the pick. I didn’t know much about Pittsburgh at the time. I knew they wore black and gold, and I thought that was a great color combination. I knew they didn’t throw the ball a lot. I wasn’t a fan of watching a lot of football, only playing, so I am glad I went to the Steelers.”
Steelers legend Brett Keisel will announce one of the team’s draft picks during the Steelers Draft Party at Croke Park in Ireland. This event marks the first time the team is hosting a draft party in Ireland, as the Steelers plan to play a regular-season game at Croke Park in the 2025 season. Keisel expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s a great honor to do this. There’s a lot of work that goes into the draft, not only from a player’s perspective, but also the organization’s perspective. The Steelers really try to develop their team through the draft and get good, young players that they can teach and mold into really strong professionals. So, it’s a great honor to be able to make a pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers, my team, I love that team. I’m so grateful that they drafted me in 2002.”
Additionally, Tom McCormack, recognized as the Steelers International Fan of the Year, will announce one of the selections on the third day of the draft. McCormack, hailing from Dublin, Ireland, expressed his surprise and joy upon learning of his award. “I was absolutely speechless,” he commented on winning the title. “I got pretty emotional. I have been to the Steelers’ watch parties they have hosted here in Dublin. But I didn’t expect this. I love the game. I love the Steelers. I love the city. I just want to bring more people here to see the Steelers.”
The Steelers currently hold six draft picks. However, the team did not receive any compensatory picks for the 2025 draft. Here is the Steelers’ list of draft picks by round:
